For this project, I decided to create a short animation that served as a companion piece to my previous Heinz Animation project, and builds on certain elements that were previously established.
My response was a three-and-a-half animated short film called SpaceQuest, which depicts a human astronaut who has been sent on a diplomacy mission on Mars, using the signature sauce Heinz Ketchup (alongside a nice hot meal of burger and fries) as a peace offering to give to a Martian and his robot henchman.

Based off a previous initial idea for my Heinz Animation, I created SpaceQuest by utilising the same cut-out style as before, and by leaning a bit more into the retro sci-fi setting introduced in the former.
I also believe that the quirky tone (another aspect from the preceding animation) was reminiscent of the retro sci-fi shows and films of the mid-20th century, some of which include the likes of Star Trek, Stingray, The Jetsons, and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Because of this, I felt that it was a perfect fit for the animation as a whole.
